The MAGNUS

The MAGNUS is a project that worked in in conjunction with temperzone and their engineers to help build this project. Over the course of 14 weeks at the start of 2017 i was recruited into the team to help bring this system off the shelf and into production. I used this for my university and my Creative Technologies degree.

I was recruited to join to add a new perspective onto the project and so over a semester I created the animation you see and a feasibility report given to the head of the company for him to make the final decision to go ahead or not. I am currently waiting on that decision.

The MAGNUS: About

What It all Lead to

The Project

This project, The Magnus was the culmination of many of my skills in adapting to change and learning on the fly while working with an international company on a delicate project. I am under agreement not to disclose the full nature of the product as it is their designs and an unknown prototype but I can say that after a semester of work collating they did turn down my proposal more so because of office politics and expansion into differing areas not necessarily that the idea would not be explored later when it has been refined. This project has been a learning curve finding the balance of working to deadlines and pushing the boundaries of what I know i can do as an agent outside of sheltered university. The project was not a failure as it was an experience in proper project management while dealing with engineers well above me, negotiating with CEO's and researching to get credible information while consistently battling government services to get it all consolidated to the deadline for both university and the CEO of Temperzone itself.
